What’s in the bag?: Mom of two diaper bag break down

Spoiler alert! I got a new diaper bag which was enough of a reason for me to FINALLY pot together this post about "what's in my bag?" Let's jump in...I solemnly swear this is really what is in my bag right now. #minimalist

• Three diapers per kid 1 pee, 1 poo, 1 catastrophic event, Water Wipes.

• Change of clothes per kid (down to socks), Wash It Later soak and save bag to save poo exploded (or otherwise) outfit.

• Babyganics hand sanitizing wipes, WALLET, Medications, in this case my kid's Epi-pens and Zyrtec.

• Itzy Ritzy Teething Necklace and Boobs Blanket can be used to cover baby, wipe up spit or as a nursing cover, boom! #multipurpose

• Toy for baby and toy for big girl, Kindle Fire tablet saves the day for long car rides and meltdowns.

• Water and snacks, the essence of toddler life.

• Not pictured, cellphone and keys, duh!

Don't over do it, think of how long you will be gone and stock up just for that adventure, unless you are going to deserted island where you literally could not get something if you needed it. Remember that you have to carry this bag at some point so you don't want it to be too heavy. When choosing a bag style thing of what is most important. With my first I needed it to hang on the back of the stroller for easy access and it needed to be able to fit our entire lives inside because I was a first time mom. Now, I need to be able to comfortably carry it on my back  while wearing a carrier if needed, while chasing a toddler, big shoes to fill. BONUS that this one has a fold out changing pad because getting a toddler to come into a bathroom stall with you while you change their sibling is basically impossible. I also typically but abigger  toy in the car seat with the baby so that doesn't need to fit into the bag. Happy Packing!
